Jane Tower started Tower Books in 2018 to use her wealth of experience to help small businesses thrive. She learned early in her career that the most successful business decisions are based on accurate data. The mission of Tower Books is to provide our clients with accurate information and to help them use that information to create the companies of their dreams.
Jane has over 20 years of experience using QuickBooks and helping small business owners make better decisions.
Then
Jane’s career began working with the Dave Matthews Band. Within just a few years, the band went from playing in fraternities and small clubs to selling out Giant Stadium and massive amphitheaters. And Jane went from learning the first version of Quicken on a used Mac Plus computer to managing dozens of employees, overseeing a multimillion dollar merchandising powerhouse, and delivering management accounting services to the band and every branch of the organization.
For the 14 years prior to launching Tower Books, Jane was Executive Vice President of a financial services firm, overseeing the client service and operations teams while serving high net worth clients as a Certified Financial Planner.

As a finance and operations professional for more than 20 years, Jane loves to advise and encourage small business owners. For the last five years she has grown Tower Books with the help of loyal clients and trusted staff. Her curiosity and problem solving skills are key attributes that her clients appreciate and that she believes make her stand out in this industry.

Jane holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and has held the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation since 2003.

Amanda Pihl
Amanda joined Tower Books in early 2021. She is a university graduate with a background in finance and business administration. She is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor with over 16 years of experience in the customer service and finance industries. She provides our clients with prompt, professional service and with her, you know your books are in good hands. She takes care of our clients and provides an accurate and honest level of service to help keep your business organized.
